Born of the friendship built up between Frédéric and Rajan over the years, Happy Népal Trek is a local, family-run agency. The pair's goal is to help you discover Nepal in ideal conditions. Over the years, the agency has built up a trusted network of guides, lodges and local companies, and today has a loyal clientele in search of an authentic experience.
Rajan Prasad Dhamala
Director of Happy Nepal Trek, Leader Tour and English-speaking guide. Born on 19/10/1978 in Sankosh, Dhading Besi district. Rajan was a porter before becoming a guide and embarking on the Happy Nepal Trek adventure. He has over 30 years' experience on all the major treks in the country. He will manage your trip to Nepal and your activities with professionalism, a smile and enthusiasm. Today, he enjoys leading groups whenever his activity as manager allows.
Frédéric Esquive
Born on 25/08/1971 in the Hautes-Pyrénées, he is Happy Nepal Trek's permanent contact in France. With several long stays in Nepal, where he has surveyed the trails of Nepal's main massifs, he will be able to give you all the information you need by e-mail or telephone. Your first questions will surely be addressed to him.
Born 10/04/1983 in Jyamrung, Dhading Besi district. She is Rajan's wife and takes care of the agency's administrative tasks. She will also be delighted to teach you Nepalese cuisine in the family home that welcomes you to Kathmandu.
