A wonderful trek through Gurung country and its magnificent villages, with incredible views of the highest peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs. This loop is suitable for all physically fit walkers and will appeal to you with its variety of landscapes.
Directions from Kopra
Day 1
Pick-up from Kathmandu International Airport and transfer to hotel. Visit to the tourist and commercial district of Thamel. First immersion in the city's many gems.
Day 2
Free day to visit Kathmandu and its valley. Final preparations for the trek.
Day 3
Flight Kathmandu-Pokhara (25 minutes) or transfer by bus (6 to 8h journey).relax and stroll around Lake Phewa.
Day 4
Pokhara- Nayapul by cab (1h15) and trek to Ghandruk.1940m (5h30 to 6h30 walk)
Day 5
Ghandruk-Tadapani.2630m (5 to 6 hours walking)
Day 6
Tadapani-Dobato.3460m (5 to 6 hours walking)
Day 7
Wake up very early and climb to the Muldaï lookout.3640m to watch the sunrise over Dhaulagiri, Annapurna Sud and the aesthetic Macchapuchare.Return to the lodge for breakfast, then trek to Cistibang.2975m (5 to 6h walk).
Day 8
Cistibang-Kopra Danda.3660m
(3 to 4 hours walking)
Day 9
Ascent to the sacred Khayer lake.4800m and return to Kopra Danda.3660m

Day 10
Kopra Danda-Swanta.2270m
(5 to 6 hours walking)
Day 11
Swanta-Mohare Danda.3320m (6-7 h walk). Here again, a new viewpoint to enjoy the sunset and sunrise the next day.
Day 12
Mohare Danda-Hile.1460m (5-6h walk)
Day 13
Hile-Nayapul (2 to 3h walk) then transfer to Pokhara by cab (1h15 journey). Relax and stroll around Pokhara in the afternoon
Day 14
Transfer Pokhara-Kathmandu by plane, bus or private car, then visit and stroll around Kathmandu to discover its temples and squares from another time.
Day 15
Transfer to the airport and departure.
